Returns and Refunds

As prescription lenses are a custom made product made to your individual requirements and therefore unsuitable for sale to anyone else, we are not obliged to provide refunds or exchanges on prescription spectacles unless there is a fault with the frame or lenses.

If you are returning damaged or faulty goods to us, you make choose to accept an alternative of the same specification and price or you may choose a full refund including delivery charges. Delivery charges will not be refunded on goods returned for any other reason.

If you are returning an item to us under the original guarantee, we will provide you with replacement goods to the same specification and value.

Due to the high cost to us in producing prescription lenses, including single vision lenses, bifocal or varifocal spectacles, or spectacles with thinner lenses, transitions lenses, tints or coatings; orders comprising of these products will be non refundable or exchangeable unless there is a manufacturers fault or technical fault with the frame or lenses, which will be replaced for like frames or new lenses.

We will not accept returns or exchanges on items due to poor fit or appearance as you are agreeing to order this without seeing or trying them on first. You can take them to a local optician if they need adjusting.

You must notify us of your wish to return any goods within 7 days of receiving goods from us, and we will issue you with a returns reference.

We will refund the amount paid by you for your goods (not including postage costs) which you are returning within 30 days, or you may choose a replacement item which would also be received by you within 30 days.

Any goods you wish to return should be received by us within 30 days, in an as new condition with their full original packaging.

You are responsible for the cost of postage incurred when returning goods to us.

We recommend that you gain proof of postage or use a recorded delivery service when returning any item(s) to us, as we cannot be held responsible for any item(s) lost in the post.

If we do not receive your returned goods within 35 days of your notice of cancellation, we may collect the goods from you and charge you for any costs incurred. If goods are still not returned by you or we were unable to collect the goods from you, after 40 days of our receipt of your notice of cancellation, we reserve the right to charge you the full price for any goods as they were priced at the time the original order was placed.

By placing an order with SpecsPost, you agree to our Terms and Conditions, and therefore agree that in the above mentioned circumstances, that you are liable to pay the full price of any goods that we are unable to recover or receive back from you in reasonable time.

This does not affect your statutory rights with regards to refunds and returns.
