Eyelashes that are a winner in the den.
In among all the stories of war and hate in the news at the moment it's good to hear a positive story about an inspirational woman. One who describes herself as a survivor not a victim.
Codilia Gapare of Northwich, Cheshire has recently won a local "Dragons Den" style competition - Salters Den, with her business C-lash. Her product, a false eyelash, is unlike any other as it doesn't need to be attached to your own eyelashes, meaning that they are suitable for those who have lost their own eyelashes.
Cordilia came up the idea when she was undergoing treatment for cancer herself, discovering that there wasn't anything suitable already available. The C in C -lash stands for compassion and confidence, because they enable you to look and feel like yourself, something which is a boost to your confidence.
She is hoping to use the £2,500 cash prize and additional £2,500 worth of financial and legal mentoring to help develop her business further and raise it's profile.
She is definitely a lady to keep an eye on! Keep watch for a business we think will go from strength to strength. We wish her lots of luck.
