How to Measure Pupillary Distance
When buying glasses online, it is advisable to ask your optician for your pupillary distance measurement. However, your optician may not give you this, in which case you may need to know how to measure your pupil distance yourself.
You can do this in front of a mirror or ask a friend to help you. To do this, you need to measure the distance in millimetres between your pupils. If you are unable to take your pupillary distance measurement for any reason, we can use an average pupillary distance measurement to make your lenses (please note for higher prescriptions we require the PD measurement to be supplied).
All you need to take your pupil distance measurement yourself is a ruler or tape measure, a steady hand (or a friend...) and you will soon have the measurement you need - it's easy, promise!
