We are very proud to announce that coming very soon to SpecsPost online we are set to launch the full range of Superdry glasses.  The new collection of Superdry Eyewear features amazing acetates with bold details for a contemporary look with a vintage feel.

According to Superdry's own promotional literature "Superdry was launched in 2003, after an inspirational trip to Tokyo [by Julian Dunkerton] ..... and aims to create 'future classic' glasses inspired by fusing iconic vintage Americana and high impact Japanese graphic imagery with a British twist"   Launched in 2003, heavily assisted by early adoption by David Beckham and other global A-listers Superdry has fast become one of the hottest brands on the planet.

Produced and distributed under a licence agreement by Bristol (UK) based Inspecs, Superdry's eyeglasses range looks set to beome the outerwear urban accesory of 2012, likely to be adopted by fashionable young people who need glasses and also those who don't but just want to look great!  Already being heavily promoted  by high-end high street opticians chain Vision Express and via traditional press/media channels such as the Observer Superdry's inaugural 2012 collection looks set to be a bit hit.

Superdry's glasses remain faithfull to the Superdry ethos, fusing excellent design, quality materials and great value for a high-end brand.  Highlights of the inaugural Superdery glasses collection include, the use of bamboo on some products, laser etching of highly visible Superdry logos in a number of varients, brushing of the foundation acetate material to provide an aged finish (think stonewashed jeans) and a to die for aged wooden glasses box/case.

The frame names are pretty catchy too with the boring codes of many designer glasses replaced by the figures of inspiration or the lifetyle of aspiration.  Superdrys range includes frames called, Brando, Holly, Dean, Jet Star and Navigator.   Superdry glasses look positioned to give Ray Ban glasses a real run for their money.  A great British success story and a welcome entry to the glasses market for glasses wearers looking for more choice and style.
